Ako Hiko Toolkits 2021

Today I attended the Owairaka District Primary School for the Ako Hiko Toolkits 2021.

We had three sessions we had a variety of choices to pick from . I chose Tinkercad Designing, Word Art, And Coding Minecraft I think the best session for me was word art It was very interesting Here some pictures of what I did

 

Ladainian's Rocket Design

 

 I chose this design because I wanted to try a different Shape compared to everyone else. Well, not really I just added a rectangle at the bottom of my triangle. Here are some different pictures from different angles.

LaDainian's Rocket Rollercoaster

 For our rocket launch today the rockets blasted off but did not go very far, as they spun around in random directions. The wind was very high today.

The launch went really well , the rockets didn’t fail to launch and there were no issues with the equipment.

What I noticed is that the rockets did not fly straight up.

This could be due to the angle of the launcher not being perfectly straight. I also think that the wings played a role in how the rocket moved through the air. I think I could improve this by changing the wings and making sure they are more solid and aligned correctly.

My next steps are to work on my wing designs to make it more stable. I might try different shapes to instead

of using triangles. I used four wings but I might try two wings

Today I was learning how to Simple Complex Compound Sentences. I found that writing short sentences was experimentally fun. I found writing complex & compound sentences to be fun and easy. Have a look at my work below let me know what I could work on ! blog ya later

 

INQUIRY Tinkercad

 We have been doing Inquiry in our class our topic is Past,Present And Future

So we designed houses for the future.

This is my future home and it is made out of blue memory steel.It is made out of blue memory steel because it will hold up the house nice and strong.it is also easy to get because it is recycled

I have designed it like this because in the future houses may get busted down and you  can just build this nice and easy house

How many people will it fit: About 2-3

How many people can live in it : 1

This house will not be very helpful for families in the future .
